Pathfinder Trade and Invest are excited to launch an Agri-tech trade mission to Regina, Saskatchewan in June 2019. This mission coincides with the Canada Farm Progress Show bringing more than 40,000 producers, manufacturers, buyers and industry experts together.

About the Mission:

  • The trade mission will take place from 17-22 June 2019 and will include entry into the Canada Farm Progress Show in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada.
  • The mission will be led by Susannah Poulton from the Department of International Trade in Cambridge who has led a successful Agri-tech mission to Canada with Innovate UK
  • Pre-mission DIT support from International Trade Advisers and specialists will be available.
  • Pre-mission pitch training day will be led by Susannah Poulton DIT, Cambridge
  • A Mission Group Brochure will be compiled featuring each of the 15 companies on the visit. Each company will receive 15 copies.
  • Entry tickets to the Canada Farm Progress show will be included.
  • A day of meetings and site visits will be arranged in addition to the show

Who is this Mission for?

  • This Mission is for UK Agri-tech companies in the East Region who are looking to explore partnership and business opportunities in Canada. Suitability will be assessed by DIT East through the online application form. Companies not based in the East Region should contact us directly to register their interest.
  • New and existing exporters are encouraged to apply.
  • Mission participants must be British exporters of goods or services.  They may be a UK registered subsidiary of a foreign company, providing they are actively contributing to the British economy.

Benefits of the Mission:

  • We will be liaising with DIT East who will be on hand to fully support this trade mission with market information, preparing a profile for the mission brochure and preparing a detailed and full agenda. Two DIT Trade Advisers from the East Region will attend the mission and assist in setting up networking opportunities and meetings.
