Sir William Patey & Baroness Symons head event on risk in Transitional Countries

Iraq, Libya and Egypt: Mitigating Risks and Maximising Reward” on March 19th at 1 Whitehall Place was a sold-out event, acclaimed by our members and clients for content, relevance and honesty in regard to three of the UK’s most difficult transitional country partners. Our first VIP panel of the briefing looked into the geopolitical risks of the region and specific challenges of doing business in these three countries, chaired by Sir WIlliam Patey, former British Ambassador in Iraq and FCO in Libya. Our second expert panel concentrated on how to prevent and mitigate the political and economic risks posed by core issues, moderated by Mike Pullen, Head of International Trade at DLA Piper. High interest in these three markets will keep them on our agenda, so keep an eye out for upcoming events covering opportunities in these countries.
